Fabric Ceiling Design

For The Liquor Fort at Maidawas, Baba Supersign fabricated and installed two large fabric-tensioned illuminated ceiling features measuring 10 ft × 60 ft and 10 ft × 36 ft. The ceiling system was developed around the interior concept by DB Architekt to provide continuous diffused lighting above the island display areas while minimising the number of visible surface-mounted light fixtures.

Installation & Finishing

• Tensioned Fabric Surface: Fabric was stretched across the framing system to create a continuous illuminated ceiling surface above the display area.
• Enclosed Light Cavity: The framing and ceiling detailing were arranged to reduce direct dust and insect ingress into the illuminated cavity.
• Integrated LED Lighting: LED lighting was positioned within the ceiling assembly to produce continuous diffused illumination across the fabric surface.
